Many wedding clients are nervous about photography, often expressing concern that they do not feel comfortable in front of the camera.

This is often linked to how they may have been photographed in the past, a wedding is often the first time that a couple have commissioned a professional photographer and previous experiences of having a picture taken may have provided mixed results and an uncomfortable experience.

Pictorialism’s wedding service provides an opportunity to remove the worries about having your picture taken, after initial consultations we make arrangements for a pre-wedding photo shoot.

The pre-wedding shoot is very relaxed and informal, often it feels more like a walk in the park getting to know each other, and this is essentially how we view the shoot. With some friendly banter and a small amount of direction we will capture a number of images to make you more comfortable with the photographic experience.

After the shoot an appointment is made to view and discuss the images, we will then produce an album of your favourite images and frame your favourite image to be used at your wedding as a guest board.
