The wedding day is the culmination of countless hours of planning, shopping, arrangements and stress.
The photographer is often the only professional to spend the entire wedding day with you, we take this role with a great sense of pride, not only are we on hand to capture the important parts of the day in images but we are on hand to de-stress and advise on many aspects, rarely does a wedding day go by when we are not consulted on ‘left or right leg for the garter?’, ‘can you tie a cravat?’.
Working as a team of two we approach the day as a prime photographer and assistant, the role of assistant encompasses a number of roles including second photographer, bridal consultant and group organiser.
We will base the day’s photography around ‘a guests view’. This is an unobtrusive way of documenting the whole day with a fresh approach. There will of course be time for those ‘important’ family/group shots, as well as some private time later in the day for our bride and groom alone capturing those romantic moments.
Our photo favors are unique to Pictorialism. We will set up ready for your receiving line and as you greet your guests we will photograph you with each of them. Whilst you then enjoy your wedding breakfast we will process and print every image, displaying them ready for your guests to collect after your meal.
The evening studio is essentially a ‘manned photo booth’ where your guests can let their hair down and have their own photographs taken whilst enjoying themselves. We are of course on hand all evening to get the shots of your ‘first dance’ and any entertainment you may have planned also.
